    Financial search engine based on semantic technologies

    This project consisted in the development of a platform that allows financial corporative search using knowledge acquisition technologies and Semantic Web elements. The platform gather financial knowledge from publica and private sources in order to add this information to a data repository. The information was semantically annotated allowing to perform more efficient and intelligent searches over the data.

    The aim of SONAR2 was the creation of a decision support system to facilitate the task of traders and financial analysts. This enviroment make use of the most recent technologies in the field of technical and fundamental analysis. Additionally, with this project a collaborative system was developed based on Web 2.0 technologies which allows to the users to create, modify or remove information related with investments in an interactive and easy way.

    Platform for the management of tourist opinions after an experience

    The basic objective of POST-VIA was to develop a tool that captures and effectively manage that knowledge, using a selective and enhanced provision of post-trip tour to the various agents involved. As a basic differential, POST-VIA platform is not limited to rely on the goodwill of tourists (often controversial and always random) to complete the valuable data of subjective perception, it offers an attractive product catalog and services compelling enough to take the time and the interest to collaborate. POST-VIA includes social components of Web 2.0 and other innovative elements especially the tourist transfer of comprehensive digital footprint generated by their travel experience. It also integrates conventional CRM components to the DMOs provide a thorough understanding of that experience and the consequent capacity to develop individualized marketing strategies.
