Special courses

Introduction to Biomedical Informatics: Concepts for the application of IT to medicine. Diagnosis processes and biomedical modeled using Semantic Technologies

The aim of this course was to give a broad idea about biomedical informatics concept. I provide an introduction to this concept and the different areas inside biomedical informatics focusin on the application of information technologies to medicine. The course also gives an introduction about what is a diagnosis process and how to model this processes using semantic technologies.

The course was teached in Instituto Tecnológico de Orizaba for professors as part of Coloquio de Investigación Multidisciplinar (CIM) in 2011.
