    Financial search engine based on semantic technologies

    This project consisted in the development of a platform that allows financial corporative search using knowledge acquisition technologies and Semantic Web elements. The platform gather financial knowledge from publica and private sources in order to add this information to a data repository. The information was semantically annotated allowing to perform more efficient and intelligent searches over the data.

    Financial trading recommender

    The aim of SONAR2 was the creation of a decision support system to facilitate the task of traders and financial analysts. This enviroment make use of the most recent technologies in the field of technical and fundamental analysis. Additionally, with this project a collaborative system was developed based on Web 2.0 technologies which allows to the users to create, modify or remove information related with investments in an interactive and easy way.

    The aim of Trazamed project was the creation of an integral solution for the traceability of medicines through the use of innovative technologies such as RFID. The project aimed to also provide a complete planning system about the routes that delivery person should do in order to deliver the medicines in the different pharmacies.

  • Financial linked open data reasoning and management for web science - FLORA

    Financial knowledge acquisition and publishing by means of Linked Data

    The aim of FLORA project was the acquisition of financial knowledge about private companies by means of the data published by these companies. After that, FLORA goal was to publish all the collected financial data in a public dataset by means as Linked Data, linking this dataset to the well-known Linked Open Data Cloud and making publicly available the data.

    Human knowledge management in the cloud

    The overall objective of the project was to create the technological infrastructure for the provision of management and development of human and intellectual capital management (HICM) in the cloud. In collaboration with Meta4 Spain, the challenge is that beyond the adaptation of services in an environment similar to SaaS, it must confront a R&D project to enable the creation of services based on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solving the technical problems posed by this change of strategy in relation to Meta4 products.

    Transfer of Social Media Networker Skills to the industry

    The aim of this project was the transfer of the Social Media Networker Skills to the industry. This will provide a technological and methodological strategy for online learning assessment, recognition, facilitation and qualification for this new job role. The project includes: Development of an online accredited programme of study for the job role of a social media networker. Piloting of the programme in all participating member states of the project and refinement of the programme based on systematic feedback Dissemination of the project results via a range of channels including a major conference and special issues in journals Ensuring the sustainability of the project and its outputs through the European Certificates Association and other bodies.

  • Diseño, desarrollo y prototipado de una plataforma TIC de servicios post-viaje para turistas. POST-VIA 2.0

    Platform for the management of tourist opinions after an experience

    The basic objective of POST-VIA was to develop a tool that captures and effectively manage that knowledge, using a selective and enhanced provision of post-trip tour to the various agents involved. As a basic differential, POST-VIA platform is not limited to rely on the goodwill of tourists (often controversial and always random) to complete the valuable data of subjective perception, it offers an attractive product catalog and services compelling enough to take the time and the interest to collaborate. POST-VIA includes social components of Web 2.0 and other innovative elements especially the tourist transfer of comprehensive digital footprint generated by their travel experience. It also integrates conventional CRM components to the DMOs provide a thorough understanding of that experience and the consequent capacity to develop individualized marketing strategies.
